Everything taught by shaw academy is very useful and resourceful, the problem is that if you skipped the class you can't go back and relearn the previous module , the videos disappear.

I am enjoying Shaw academy however, when I signed up to one course, it wont allow me to go further from module 2 and I sent an email to the support team and they said they were re structuring the course, 6 months later I still couldn't access it so sent another email and it's now been a year and I cannot complete the course, I enrolled with another course and am having the same situation.

Shaw academy has a way of gradually breaking even complex things down for proper understand.

The lessos are nice it’s organize but when the app got updated the fee increased too even just taking the assignment. Before the fee will just be assessed if u will buy the resources or if you want to take the assessment sooner than the schedule

Teaching was good. Audio was crisp and clear but the quality of video was not good. I would like to have free course material for some video.

Well, I know Shaw Academy for a few years now. I first bought a course from them, then I bought a package that would allow me lifetime access to all courses (at the time that included everything in the courses). However, they change the rules ALL THE TIME and now, even though I have access to the courses, I have to pay extra to have access to course material. That is pretty misleading and deceptive as, well, - what is the point of watching videos without access to material to learn/train/study the skills I am spending my time trying to learn? In the end, having access to it is a lie in my point of view, especially since they changed the rules since I signed up.

i learn a lot on adobe so far, i can give it n good reviewe i study with shaw now for 2 years and so far no complains.

I feel that this is unfair from Shaw Academy’s side. There was no confirmation for this purchase and I was trying to see what lesson I was at when the popup for the certificate popped up, which by the way is the second popup I had to close in a span of less than a minute.

From a developer's point of view (which I as a Multimedia and Web developer can comment on) you should at least have a confirmation set up for purchases when you have popups coming up the whole time linked to a payment to avoid situations like this. Take a look at Mr. Delivery and Takealot, they have the confirmation setup which I am referring to.

I already contacted the bank to cancel my card so that this can not happen again and also to do a chargeback.

I bought a lifetime membership just to be paying for every freaking course certificate (Not a physical one FYI but an online certification that costs you R499.99).

There was no clear mention of charging extra for the e-certificates which is pretty bad, I understand the hard copy certificate but seriously.

I would not recommend Shaw Academy to anyone, not even an enemy.
